ANJ also does not make any contributions to or expenditures to political campaigns or organizations or other groups whose role is to influence political campaigns or public policy and legislation.
As a palm oil company, we strategically participate in associations that promote sustainable business practices and industry development. We are an active member of the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (Gabungan Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit Indonesia or “GAPKI”), where we contribute professional insights on industry-relevant matters, particularly regarding regulatory compliance and sustainability practices. This is manifested through the active participation of our Sustainability Director, Mrs. Nunik Maharani, who serves as a member of the CSR Compartment within the Sustainability Section of GAPKI. In addition, our technical team also contributes expertise to the Greenhouse Gas Task Force. This professional engagement focuses on knowledge and experience exchange to enhance sustainability practices in the palm oil industry.
Through our participation in various GAPKI sustainability initiatives, we ensure our corporate practices align with industry standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining independence and professionalism in all our engagements. This approach enables ANJ to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of sustainable palm oil practices in the sector while upholding objectivity and adherence to good governance.
As a public company, we are also a member of Indonesian Public Company Association (Asosiasi Emiten Indonesia or “AEI), an organization that focuses on developing and supporting capital market policies and support sustainable growth in Indonesia.
As part of our participation in GAPKI and AEI we are required to contribute annual membership fees and sponsorship for certain events, the amounts of which can be seen in the following table:
