Mrs. Istini Tatiek Siddharta started her career as a public accountant, and was subsequently made Partner at Siddharta, Siddharta & Harsono in Indonesia, a member of Coopers & Lybrand until 1998, which later became a member of KPMG. Mrs. Siddharta joined ANJ as the Group’s Finance Director in 2001, a role that she has remained in for over ten years.
Mrs. Siddharta holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Indonesia and an MBA from the John Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is an active member of the Indonesian Accountants Association, as well as a member of the Consultative Board of Financial Accounting Standards of the Indonesian Accountants Association. Mrs. Siddharta was the Chairperson for the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards Board during the period of 2000 to 2002.
Mrs. Siddharta has served as President Director as of January 2016. Before holding this position, she was the Deputy President Director from December 2012 to December 2015.
Mr. Lucas Kurniawan was appointed as Independent/Finance Director in November 2014. Prior to joining ANJ, Mr. Kurniawan was a public accountant for 22 years. He began his career as a public accountant in October 1993 with Kantor Akuntan Publik (KAP) Siddharta Siddharta & Widjaja, a member of KPMG International, where he became a partner in 2005 (KAP Siddharta Siddharta & Widjaja, formerly KAP Siddharta Siddharta & Harsono, was a member of Coopers & Lybrand until 1998). On 1 August 2007, Mr. Kurniawan joined KPMG Limited, Vietnam, where he was an audit partner for four years until 30 June 2011. From 1 July 2011 to 30 September 2014, he was a partner at KAP Tanudiredja Wibisana & Rekan, a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Ltd.
Mr. Kurniawan holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Tarumanagara University. He is a member of the Indonesian Accountants Association and the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Geetha Govindan K. Gopalakrishnan was appointed as a director of ANJ with responsibility for the operations of ANJ’s palm oil business in October 2015. Mr. Govindan also serves as the President Director of ANJ’s subsidiaries engaging in the palm oil business.
He has worked in the plantation industry for more than 30 years, and joined ANJ Group in January 2014 after working for 13 years at PT REA Kaltim Plantations, where his last position was the Vice President Director from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, he served as Director of Operations from 2005 to 2008.
Mr. Govindan has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Madras, India, a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Euregio Management School, Netherlands.
Mr. Naga Waskita joined ANJ in September 2012. Prior to joining ANJ, Mr. Waskita was a corporate lawyer for 15 years. He started his career at Mochtar Karuwin Komar until he left the law firm in August 2012. During his tenure, he was in the banking and finance practice of the firm.
He holds a bachelor degree in Law from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and a Master degree in Law from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He is a member of Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (the Indonesian Advocates Association).
Mr. Fakri Karim was appointed as Sustainability Director in May 2019. Prior to joining ANJ, over the past 13 years, Mr. Fakri Karim has managed some of emergency and long-term development programme at global, regional and national level for United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) dan UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR)
Over past 8 years, Mr. Fakri Karim has been working on climate change and sustainable development at the global level with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) championing improved climate adaptation financing, capacities for adaptation planning and sustainable development in more than 15 countries in Asia, Pacific and Africa. He was key influencer in promoting the role of local authorities in implementing “Paris Agreement”.
Mr. Fakri Karim has been a key member of UNCDF’s global advocacy and policy team on financing development at the sub-national level, and an influencer with LDCs and SIDS on the climate change and decentralized development finance agendas.
Mr. Fakri Karim holds a Bachelor in Civil Law from University of Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, and Master of Law degree from the University of Indonesia. He has also completed the UNDP/Harvard Business Publishing/IDEO “Leadership Development Pathway” in 2017.
